Around the lush green fields south of Kolkata, India, where kids play cricket while their parents work, are small cottage industries where Artee's artisans work on complicated hand embroidered designs that adorn beautiful rooms around the world. This is the story in pictures of the embroidery executed on the grand ballroom panels of one of the most expensive homes built in the world. The panels in silk velvet and adorned by Swarowski crystals were done by Artee's artisans. The panels - shown in these pictures were pieced together and completed on site in the tower were the final embroidery was done.
